Key Responsibilities:

Receive Goods:

Accept and unload deliveries from suppliers.
Inspect goods for damage and verify the accuracy of the shipment against purchase orders.
Record and report any discrepancies or issues with received goods.
Stock Shelves:

Organize and place goods on shelves in accordance with store layout and display standards.
Ensure shelves are stocked and product displays are attractive and easily accessible to customers.
Rotate stock to ensure freshness and minimize waste, particularly for perishable items.
Make Weekly Orders:

Monitor inventory levels to identify items that need replenishment.
Assist in preparing and placing weekly orders with suppliers to ensure a consistent supply of goods.
Collaborate with the store manager to adjust orders based on sales trends and customer demand.
Customer Assistance:

Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with finding products and answering questions.
Offer product recommendations and information on special offers or promotions.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a friendly and efficient manner.
Store Maintenance:

Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including aisles, shelves, and storage areas.
Assist with general housekeeping duties such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
Ensure safety protocols are followed to create a safe shopping environment for customers and staff.
Support Store Operations:

Assist with pricing and labeling products.
Help with setting up and taking down displays for special events or promotions.
Perform other duties as assigned by the store manager to support overall store operations.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a retail or grocery store environment is a plus.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to lift and carry heavy items and stand for extended periods.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
Working Hours:

Full-time and part-time positions available.
