Seeking Experienced Nanny in Vancouver, BC – $20-$25/hour

Job Title: Part-Time Nanny for Toddler and Dog
Location: Downtown, Vancouver
Schedule: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays (32 Hours)
Compensation: $20/hour to start, move up to $25/hour after 2 months

About Us:

We are a loving family seeking a dependable and enthusiastic part-time nanny to care for our adorable 2-year-old toddler. We also have a small, friendly dog who loves attention and playtime. If you have a passion for working with young children and don’t mind sharing the space with a furry friend, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Provide attentive care to our 2-year-old toddler, including feeding, playing, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities to support our child’s development and happiness.
Take our toddler and dog on daily walks, and facilitate fun outdoor activities, including visits to the park.
Prepare meals and snacks for our toddler, ensuring they are nutritious and balanced.
Assist with light household tasks related to the child’s needs, such as tidying up play areas and doing dishes used for the child’s meals.
Requirements:

Proven experience caring for toddlers, with a strong understanding of their developmental needs and routines.
Comfortable with having a small dog in the apartment and able to manage basic pet care (e.g., feeding and walking the dog).
Reliable, punctual, and capable of handling the responsibilities with a positive attitude.
Must have current first aid and CPR certification (or be willing to obtain it).
Strong communication skills and a nurturing demeanor.
Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in a nanny or childcare role.
Basic cooking skills for preparing toddler-friendly meals.
A genuine love for both children and pets.
