Two Working Parents of Two Seeking Help in NW Calgary, Alberta –

Are you a responsible and reliable individual who is experienced with small children and are open to a variety of household tasks?
We have a 1 yr old and a 3 yr old who are both in daycare full time, and we both work demanding full time jobs. We’ve come to realize that we need help in order to eat healthy, sleep enough; and have clean clothes and a clean house …. All while showing up as best we can for each other and our kids. In order to maintain our sanity and balance we are looking for someone to help 3-4x a week for a few hours a day (flexible, but mornings between 7-9am and/or 4-6pm would be preferable – but we can be very flexible for the right fit.

We are seeking someone that can do the following type of work:

-Prepare breakfast for all 4 of us and lunches for kids while we wake and dress kids
– help with above kid routine if needed
– tidy toys/dishes/mess from previous day
– supervise/feed/play with kids while parents eat/get ready etc
– when family leaves for daycare and work, clean dishes from breakfast/do other household chores such as laundry and meal prep dinner
-note: we have a cleaner weekly, so we are not looking for someone to do that job, but the kitchen and laundry are unfortunately not once a week jobs

We are flexible on hours and times, but approximately 12-16 hours a week to start and we’re open to increasing if necessary. We live in NW Calgary and want someone with their own car and licence for reliability reasons.
This is a live-out, part-time position offering $20-25 hourly depending on experience.
