Experienced Nanny Wanted in Scarborough, Ontario! $25/hr

Family looking for a live-out, long-term nanny for our baby!
We are two professionals who live in the Rouge Hill (Port Union/401) area, and our son is 15 months old. We are looking for a loving and responsible person to help care for him full time. The start date is preferably Monday, Sept 30 and we are looking for someone who can stay at least 1 year. 

Our son is a happy and friendly baby who follows a routine very well. He doesn’t have any allergies so far and is not a picky eater. At 15 months he is in adventure mode, but at this moment he is not yet walking (he might be by the end of September). 

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am – 5pm, with some flexibility to start at 8am some days, and leave at 5:30-6pm some days. 

Duties include:
– Take care of baby’s needs, maintain his nap and feeding schedule. 
– Play/do activities with baby, outside time (baby has been taken outside for walks every day since he was a newborn, including in the winter unless there is a storm, and our expectation is that the right candidate will continue this)
– Work on developmental activities/practice skills as needed. 
– Keep baby, his toys, and his playing areas neat and clean (i.e. wipe down surfaces/high chair everyday), give baby baths as needed.
– Wash baby’s bottles/utensils/bowls after feeding.- Baby’s laundry and keep his wardrobe organized.- Prepare baby’s food and snacks (we will provide a menu, and sometimes we pre-make his meals for the nanny to feed him, but as he grows we need someone who can assist in preparing fresh meals for him as needed). You will feed him breakfast, lunch, and snacks. 
– Keeping an eye on baby’s supply in general (e.g. inform us if his diapers/lotions etc. are running low, pick out and put away clothing that no longer fit).

The ideal candidate should be:- thoughtful, energetic (can play and engage a toddler), collaborative, and reliable. Driving is not required, and there will be no transporting/driving the baby anywhere at this time, but please have a reliable plan to come to work as we do not have a lot of flexibility in our schedule to accommodate last minute changes. We are located about a 15 min walk from Rouge Hill GO station. 
– Already living in the Toronto area or Durham region and ideally not too far a commute away. We are not sponsoring at this time.
– Have or be willing to get first aid/CPR training (with our help if needed), criminal record check, and up-to-date immunizations (including COVID vaccines).
