Are you highly motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision? Come join our team at The North West Company (NWC) as the Billing Clerk, Evenings. In this role, you’re based out of our Winnipeg Logistics Service Centre (WLSC). This is a temporary/ casual position with the opportunity to be hired on a permanent, full-time employment, with competitive compensation package and career advancement, based on performance.
Your Role:
– Interpret and enter freight shipment information into billing system;
– Create manifests for outbound trailers;
– Perform a variety of clerical functions, such as filing, and photocopying,
– Email and answer phones;
– Trace shipments; and
– Run weekly and monthly reports.
Desired Skills & Experience:
-Demonstrated numeric and alphanumeric keyboarding skills and basic proficiency in MS Office applications with an emphasis on Excel, Word, and Outlook;
– Previous office administrative experience is required;
– Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workloads under tight deadlines is required;
– Ability to provide superior customer service to both internal and external customers;
– High attention to detail with the ability to follow set procedures and instructions
Shift Details:
Hours: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 2pm – 10:30pm
Pay Rate: $16.25/hr
