Full Time Housekeeper for a Home in Fredericton

A family of five (three little boys who are all in school) is looking for a reliable housekeeper who can work Monday to Friday from 10 am to 3 pm (flexible). Although full time work, when the family is on vacation or away, the housekeeper does not have to work provided all tasks are up to date.

Gross annual salary of $42,000.00 paid weekly, each Friday. Time off at Christmas and other times throughout the year when the family is away. Daily work hours are flexible provided there is a general schedule followed.

Role and Responsibilities

• All cleaning is the housekeeper’s responsibility except for laundry when the nanny is working. When the nanny is off, then laundry too.
• All errands for the family including weekly grocery shopping, putting away and cupboard organization.
• Childcare when the nanny is unavailable. Weekend time will be discussed in advance and is not often.
• Christmas gift wrapping and helping prepare for parties such as children’s birthdays and summer pool parties.
• Taking the children to school and picking them up as needed (which is not often).
• Meal preparation on occasion (light and not often).
• All other tasks that may arise in relation to keeping the home very clean and organized.
• Need to have a vehicle with a valid driver’s license and a criminal record check will be requested for the successful applicant.

Two weeks training by the current housekeeper will be provided and the salary will start during training.
