Fabrication Welder Supervisor

Location: Guelph, ON
Salary: $29-$31 per hour 10% shift premium
Shift: 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM
Overtime: After 40 hours on the afternoon shift (40-52 hours per week)

We are seeking an experienced Fabrication Welder Supervisor to join and lead our team in a fast-paced, clean, and safety-focused environment. This position is ideal for someone with a solid background in welding and leadership, who excels in managing both projects and people.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead a team of welders in day-to-day operations.
Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and welding standards.
Lay out reference points and patterns for welding.
Assemble and fit plates and sections, ensuring proper alignment.
Oversee the welding and bolting of sections together.
Construct patterns and templates as required.
Coordinate the rigging, hoisting, and movement of materials.
Conduct quality control inspections and troubleshoot issues on the floor.
Ensure proper documentation and compliance with welding procedures.
Requirements:
CWB certification (expired certifications acceptable).
2-3 years of experience with metalcore or flux core welding.
2-3 years of supervisory experience.
Ability to read and interpret structural drawings.
Ability to read metric and imperial units.
Work Environment:
Small, close-knit team.
Noisy environment (earplugs required).
Hot but air-conditioned, with bay doors open for ventilation.
