Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Painter/Helper to assist with painting tasks in the Greater Toronto Area, including Mississauga, Oakville, Burlington, Hamilton, and Toronto. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting experienced painters and working on various projects to meet our high-quality standards.

Responsibilities:
– Assist in preparing surfaces for painting (sanding, patching, priming)
– Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, and surfaces as directed
– Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment
– Safeguard all work areas, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum cleanliness
– Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on time
– Other duties as assigned by project managers or senior painters

Requirements:
– Must have previous experience in painting or a strong interest in learning the trade
– Reliable transportation and the ability to commute between job sites in Mississauga, Oakville, Burlington, Hamilton, and Toronto
– Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to take direction
– Physically able to perform duties such as lifting, climbing ladders, and standing for extended periods
– Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
– Strong communication skills

Compensation:
– Pay will be discussed based on experience, skills, and abilities.
