Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional massage services to clients, helping them to relax, relieve stress, and alleviate pain. This role requires a deep understanding of various massage techniques and a commitment to delivering personalized care tailored to each client’s needs.

Responsibilities
– Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and prenatal massages.
– Assess clients’ needs and preferences to develop individualized treatment plans.
– Maintain a clean and organized treatment area in accordance with health and safety regulations.
– Communicate effectively with clients regarding their comfort levels and any areas of concern during the session.
– Keep accurate records of client treatments and progress for follow-up sessions.
– Stay updated on industry trends and best practices through ongoing education and training.
– Promote wellness by providing clients with advice on self-care practices and lifestyle adjustments.

Requirements
– Valid state license or certification in massage .
– Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various massage techniques.
– Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
– Ability to maintain professionalism while providing a relaxing environment for clients.
– Physical stamina to perform massages for extended periods while maintaining proper body mechanics.
– Previous experience in a spa or wellness center is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
