Job Description:
We are looking for skilled and motivated heavy equipment operators, asphalt worker and 310T mechanics to join our growing team. The ideal candidates will have experience in asphalt paving and maintenance, with a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Responsibilities:
– Prepare work sites, including the removal of old asphalt and debris.
– Operate and maintain asphalt equipment such as pavers, rollers, and compactors.
– Apply asphalt, gravel, and other materials to surfaces according to project specifications.
– Ensure a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
– Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment.
– Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects efficiently and to the highest standards.
Requirements:
– Previous experience in asphalt paving and/or maintenance is preferred.
– Proficiency in operating paving and compaction equipment.
– Strong understanding of safety practices and procedures.
– Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
– Reliable transportation to job sites within the Waterloo Region.
– Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
– Work with Project Management, Estimating Department and Engineering.
