Our client, who is specializes in the manufacture of quality engineered polyiso insulation, speciality products and accessories,  is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a maintenance technician, you will be part of the Facility team. The ideal candidate will have minimum 5 years of experience in industrial electrical/mechanical experience.  

Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Delta, BC
Pay Range: $35.66/hour 
Shifts: Mon to Fri, 6:00am to 1:30pm

What’s the Job?

  • Perform routine maintenance and repair on all plant machinery and equipment, including HVAC systems, lighting, electrical, plumbing, and process mechanical equipment such as pumps, valves, heat exchangers, and air compressors.
  • Troubleshoot and repair issues with computer hardware/software, PLCs, industrial computers, and variable frequency drives.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, operational results, and equipment performance.
  • Complete and distribute production, warehousing, and shipping reports as necessary.
  • Conduct monthly inspections, respond to emergencies, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.

What’s Needed?

  • Minimum of five (5) years of industrial electrical/mechanical experience, including experience with PLCs, VFDs, and electrical controls.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical prints, wiring diagrams, and control systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and computerized maintenance management systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and technical manuals.
  • Understanding of lockout/tagout procedures.
