We currently have A full-time position available in our meat processing department.
As a MEAT PROCESSOR, you will be working in a cool environment, wearing proper attire and following protocols that help ensure the maintenance of a safe and sanitary work environment.
Your duties will include:
– cutting various cuts of meats to be used in further production (ex. boneless hams, capicola, jowls etc.)
– grinding, stuffing and salting various, keeping coolers and freezers organized and tidy
– some heavy lifting of up to 60 lbs.
– regularly sanitizing your work environment
at least 1 years working experience in the meat industry is required
familiarity with HACCP or GMP protocols would be an asset, but is not required
So long as you have 1 year experience working with meat and are comfortable working with knives, we are confident that we can teach you all else you need to know in order to excel in this position! Most importantly, we are looking for an individual who is dependable and once trained, able to work effectively on their own without constant supervision.
This position is available immediately. Starting salary is $20/hour, but this number may be reassessed in accordance to your knowledge and skill level. There is opportunity for advancement in our company!
