About the Company

We are a growing residential and commercial general contracting and home building company located in Ottawa Ontario. The majority of our work entails custom home construction management, additions, auxiliary buildings, as well as kitchen, bathroom and basement renovations. We are seeking motivated, self sufficient, respectful, and clean individuals to our growing team.

Responsibilities:

-Carpentry: Highly skilled in all Carpentry related tasks including but not limited to framing, hanging doors, installing trim, drywall, taping, insulation, flooring and all other related duties construction. Highly proficient in common construction power tools.
-Project Coordination: Know and understand project plans and schedules. Ability to read and understand plans and technical diagrams. Plan material and personnel needs. Actively communicate with project manager regarding project progress; and ensuring the site team meets the assigned timelines.
-Quality Assurance: Proactively monitors quality throughout the project. Maximize the durability, aesthetics as well as functionality of the final product.
-Site Leadership: Mentor and supervise general labourers onsite and provide appropriate coaching. Positive and motivating leadership style. Proactive communication with the team and the Project Manager.
-Site Management: Supervises subtrades closely and monitors site safety. Ensure all members onsite follow safety protocol.

Qualifications:

3 years residential carpentry experience.
3 years trim/finish carpentry experience
Strong time management and planning skills
Strong working knowledge of job site safety and building codes
High standard of quality and professionalism
Excellent communication and people skills
Valid driver’s license and own vehicle
Clean criminal record
Must have own tools

Education:

-Secondary school preferred

Experience:
-Carpentry: 3 years (required)
