AZ team driver needed

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Long Haul Drivers to join our team at Gorilla Transport. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight across long distance (Toronto- Winnipeg- Alberta runs) while ensuring the safety and security of the cargo. This role requires a strong commitment to adhering to all transportation regulations and maintaining high standards of professionalism on the road.
Duties
– Operate commercial vehicles to transport freight over long distances, ensuring timely delivery.
– Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
– Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, rest periods, and cargo details as required by law.
– Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, routes, and any issues encountered on the road.
– Ensure that all cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
– Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
– Provide excellent customer service during pickups and deliveries.
Requirements
– Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
– Proven 1 year experience in commercial driving, particularly in long haul transportation.
– Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while on long trips.
– Strong communication skills for interaction with dispatchers and customers.
– Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policies.

Pay: $75,207.00-$85,000.00 per year
