Position Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Orillia
Main Intersection: Forest Ave and Atherley Rd.
Shift schedule: Continental Shift
Shift Timings: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM & 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Pay rate: $30 to $38
Vacancy – 2 (One night shift & one-day shift)

Qualifications:
• Relevant industrial experience required.
• 5 years with hands-on repair and maintenance of machinery in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Technical skills with experience working on mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• PLC knowledge and experience are considered an asset.
• Ticketed skilled workers are considered an asset.
• Strong knowledge of preventative/predictive maintenance schedules.
• Ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure.
• Proven ability to lead a task or project as well as take direction from others.

Responsibilities:
• Perform inspections, adjustments, and repairs on production and facilities equipment.
• Install, dismantle, and overhaul machinery.
• Analyze mechanical problems and troubleshoot errors and breakdowns.
• Perform inspections, PMs, and correct issues through the order program promptly.
• Operate machine tools including lathes, drills, grinders, saws, hand tools, etc.
• Housekeeping of maintenance area.
• Other duties as assigned
