NOW HIRING: BRICKLAYER HELPERS

$45.49 or as per collective agreement, plus union benefits

Permanent employment, Full time 32 to 44 hours / week, daytime hours, early morning with possibility of overtime, weekend availability is an asset

Requirements:
– 18 months experience as a bricklayer helper or in the trade
– Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, and Fall Arrest Protection Training Course an asset, but training available
– Able to handle heavy loads (50 lbs) and follow instructions
– Steel-toed safety boots

Duties:
– Load, unload and transport construction materials for bricklayers
– Mix, pour and spread materials
– Clean and pile salvaged materials
– Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
– Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades
– Assist heavy equipment operators
– Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction

Outdoors, At heights, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity
