DZ Garbage Truck Driver

Responsibilities
Operate vehicles to collect garbage/recyclables to designated locations in a timely manner.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
Load and unload as required.
Working along side a general labourer whom is responsible for door to door garbage collection
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding garbage routes and any issues that arise during shift.
Perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles, including checking oil levels, tire pressure, and brakes.
Adhere to all safety protocols while operating heavy equipment.
Experience

Proven 1 year experience in commercial driving or a similar role is preferred.
A valid commercial driver’s license (DZ) is required for this position.
