Help Wanted – General Labourer – Fence painters

General Laborer
Fence painting and repair company based in Pickering, Ontario, serving clients in the Greater Toronto Area for over 20 years. Looking for general laborer / painter for seasonal work (beginning early spring – ending late fall)

We are accepting applicants now for the 2025 season.
(Starting early spring (April, 2025)

Laborer Job Responsibilities:
Maintain all safety standards set.
Moves, secures, installs, builds, loads, or unloads materials.
(Including but not limited to lifting 50 lb pails of paint, ladder work, loading and unloading wood, general use of common building tools.)
Performs some specialized tasks which may require on-the job training. (Including but not limited to operating airless paint sprayers, small gas engines, compressors, nail guns, and caulking guns.)
Effectively using and operating common building tools.
(Including but not limited to circular saws, table saws and hand tools.)
Moves items from place to place, prepping materials, tools, vehicles and work site according to direction.
Moving tools, equipment, or other material as directed.
Keeping tools, vehicles, trailer and work place/sites clean and organized.

Start at $19.50 per hour. We include travel time from yard to site and returning from site to yard as paid time, as well as paid lunch.

Laborer Qualifications/Skills/Assets:
Ability to read english labels, safety warnings, and guidelines
Attentive to detail and alert at all times to ensure safety.
Able to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers.
Working with a team or working independently.
Motivated and punctual, with a willingness to learn.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
High school diploma is an asset
Ability to safely operate various vehicles and equipment.
Valid drivers license, and clean driving record an asset.
Previous experience, especially in particular industry, an asset.
