Full Time Building Operator

Building Operator
Starting Wage: $19.00 per hour

Days: Monday to Friday

Hours: 8:30am to 5pm, 1 hour lunch

Uniform: Company shirt provided. Pants and closed toe shoes not provided.

Location: Downtown

Responsibilities:
• Clean and maintain designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, wipe downs, etc)
• Perform and document routine inspections
• Follow all health and safety regulations
• Communicate professionally with our clients
• Answer phone and respond to voice mesages and emails
• Maintain building security
• Yard work – Maintain flower beds & minimal snow shoveling in winter
• Occasional wall repairs and painting
Requirements:
• Speak, read and write fluent English
• Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
• Must be in good physical condition
• Proven work experience in this or simpilar industry an asset
• Police information check and employment references required.
Assets:
• Experience with access control systems, intercoms and video surveillance
• General knowledge of doors, motors, pumps, mechanical systems
• Proven work experience in this or similar industry
