Hello. We are a loving family located in the heart of Vancouver, BC, seeking a reliable and nurturing nanny to care for our 7 month old daughter. We are looking for an experienced nanny who is a native Mandarin speaker to teach our daughter how to speak Mandarin and write Chinese. This is a part-time live-out position (two days a week, on Monday and Tuesday preferably). We are offering an hourly rate of $23.00.

My husband is a full-time healthcare professional and I am currently a stay-at-home mother pursuing personal learning opportunities. We are in need of a trustworthy caregiver to provide attentive and loving care to our precious little one and keep our home in order.

The ideal candidate will:
– Be fluent in spoken Mandarin and written Chinese.
– Have previous experience caring for newborns and be knowledgeable about infant care best practices.
– Be patient, compassionate, and dedicated to creating a safe and stimulating learning environment for our baby.
– Be able to perform housekeeping duties while I am caring for my daughter. This can include vacuuming, mopping the floors, dusting, cleaning the bathrooms, doing the family’s laundry, cleaning the kitchen, etc.
– Refill our cat’s feeding bowl and scoop/replace his litter, if needed.
– Successfully pass a background check.
– Be comfortable working in a home with surveillance cameras.
– Be a non-smoker and non-drug user.
