URGENTLY HIRING FOR INDUSTRIAL TARP SEWERS-BURLINGTON, ON

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Sewer to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in sewing and fabricating materials, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. This role is essential in ensuring that our products meet the required specifications and standards.

Duties
-Candidate must know how to correctly cut to measure and assemble and produce all types of traps, flaps and related components.
-Knowledgeable on how to sew, weld and manufacturing tarps and their component parts.
-Assist with managing tarp shop inventory.
-Responsible for correctly reading and interpreting work orders, identify and select correct matrial for manufacture.
-Cut material to the correct size for manufacturing all parts of the tarp.
-Install tubing into component parts.
-Install Velcro onto component parts.
-Complete mobile tarp repairs for customer service for all drive-through tarp repairs.
-Communicates daily with production and purchasing on any issues or requests for material for the tarp shop.
-Responsible for creating masks for graphics for tarps as required.
-Complies with all personal health and safety requirements within the tarp shop.
-Assists with packaging all finished goods for shipping when required.
-Other duties as assigned.

Skills:
-Proficiency in operating industrial sewing machines and related equipment.
-Experience in warehouse settings, including knowledge of inventory management practices.
-Strong fabricating skills, with the ability to work with various types of materials.
-Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
-Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
-Good communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues.
Qualification:
-Candidate should have minimum 1 year industrial fabric manufacturing experience.
-Must have a high school diploma.
