Responsibilities
Tasks
- Assess patients’ physical abilities
- Assist health care professionals
- Carry out treatment programs, under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists, to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities
- Help physical therapists
- Set up and dismantle equipment
- Administer evaluative tests and procedures
- Clean and maintain equipment
- Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies
- Maintain supplies
- Document patient rehabilitation progress
- Prepare and maintain cleanliness of collection areas
- Process files and paperwork
- Schedule and confirm appointments
