Responsibilities
Tasks
- Inspect products and processing methods; prepare reports and ensure that regulations governing health, quality and safety are followed
- Inspect and evaluate material and equipment for compliance to standards
- Conduct inspections and tests of a variety of mechanical and electronic weighing and measuring devices and systems
- Stand engine room watch, monitoring and noting performance of engines, machinery and all auxiliary equipment
- Conduct maintenance and emergency repairs to engines, machinery and all auxiliary equipment
