Responsibilities
Tasks
- Generate maps and related graphs and charts
- Plan map content, format and design and compile required data from aerial photographs, survey notes, records, reports and other maps
- Maintain and manage digital database
- Maintain equipment and instruments
- Process data to conduct basic analyses of trends
- Write specifications and technical reports
- Apply quality control procedure
- Participate in field checks and verification
- Inspect final compositions
- Analyze and interpret weather data
- Maintain climatological databases
- Observe, record and transmit atmospheric and weather information
- Operate analog or digital airborne remote sensing equipment to prepare images, data and graphic reports, maps and charts
- Perform data entry
- Verify accuracy and completeness of data
