Responsibilities

Tasks

  • Consider water saturation, light and temperature when planning for crop growth and development
  • Coordinate planting and cultivating activities
  • Direct agricultural crops clipping activities
  • Direct agricultural crops deleafing activities
  • Direct farm grooming activities
  • Implement soil fertility programs
  • Organize planting, cultivating and crop harvesting activities
  • Maintain farm machinery, equipment and buildings
  • Manage overall operation of farm
  • Establish marketing programs
  • Maintain financial and production records
  • Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers
