Part-Time Milker Dairy Farm

We are a modern freestall dairy farm just outside of Hickson, ON (10 min north of Woodstock and under 20 min south of Stratford) looking for a milker for 2 nights per week. We milk 3 times a day in a double 8 parallel parlour. Milking times are 5:15am, 12:30pm and 7:30 pm and shifts are typically 3.5 hours and completed as a one person routine. Starting wage at $90 per 3.5-4h milking shift ($22.50-$25.70/h). increases given with good performance.

Milking is completed as a one person routine. Routine consists of pushing up feed with a skidsteer, bringing cows in, raking stalls, milking, and washing down. Experience an asset but as are willing to train the right individual.

The 2 nights we are hiring for are Friday as well as Sunday. In addition to the 2 nights per week as your regular schedule, we will also need a minimum of 2 weekend shifts per month. We rotate the staff so everyone does 1 Saturday night per month as well as either a Saturday afternoon or a Sunday afternoon. More milking shifts available if requested.
