Job Description
Join our team as a Concrete Technician, where you will engage in the wet casting of custom precast structures and walls. Your responsibilities will include setup, forming, and finishing based on blueprints which may be custom-made per client specifications. You will be integral in ensuring that cage dropping, formwork, and concrete pouring meet precise measurement requirements.
Hard Skills
1 years experience in carpentry, forming, framing, or concrete work
Proficiency with hand and power tools
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Basic blueprint reading and measurement skills
Soft Skills
Attention to detail
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Cargill, Ontario.
Work Environment
Work hours are primarily day shifts starting at 7am, with flexibility to start up to 8am, ending at 5pm. The typical schedule includes 10-hour shifts from Monday to Thursday, with potential half-days on Fridays. During busy periods, the option to work five 10-hour shifts is available. Afternoon and night shifts starting at 10am and 10pm are also available for those who prefer them. The work environment is mainly indoors, utilizing an outdoor yard, and can be a bit dirty and dusty due to concrete product handling.
