Depot Support Clerk

Our client, a leader in the logistics industry, is seeking a Depot Support Clerk to join their team. The ideal candidate will have previous clerical and customer service experience, and a sense of urgency which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Depot Support Clerk
Location: Adams Road, Kelowna, BC
Pay rate: $20.25
Shift Schedule: M-F 1PM to 5PM (20 hours per week)
Start date: August 26, 2024 (temporary assignment with possible conversion to permanent role depending on the job performance and business need)

What’s the Job?
Able to accurately capture of shipments and weight
Ensures all parcels have necessary paperwork
Responsible for administrative tasks: Emails, phone calls, scanning
and other duties as assigned

What’s Needed?
Ability to lift and/or carry up to 70 lbs.
Exemplifies and consistently demonstrates our core competencies of communication, innovation, change management, relationship building and leadership
Team player
Computer literate
Data entry skills (50 wpm)
Data entry testing required
Excellent organizational skills – ability to prioritize work and meet tight deadlines
Excellent interpersonal skills
Able to work independently
