Please have a read & share- We are looking for someone that has life experience not necessarily retail or business experience. Business/retail experience is a bonus but not the main factors of who we are looking for. We will pay you for your life experience as it should always be taken into consideration. This is not a position for a summer job seeker.
Age is also not a factor- 30-40-50 years old not an issue- we are NOT looking for someone that is in transition in their life to go to school/other careers or moving. Business we can teach- experience/maturity/accountability/dedication/respect for a job/established in life/stability/will show up on scheduled shifts without issues/they are already hard workers/they like to chat with people- help them out- basically a friendly kind person; we prefer someone to have these characteristics already and they do not have to be taught. Somebody that wants a job long term to grow with a small family business. The person must be willing to learn and is not intimidated when given a real chance to try new things. We have patience to allow people to learn!
This is a part time/full time position. Weekend availability is a must. If the applicant cannot work some weekends- they need not apply. Our hours are 11-5 M/T/W/F/Sat 11-6 Sun 12-4
We believe our position is ideal for a mom that has kids in school- wants to see their kids off to school in the morning and is home at a respectable hour for her family, or their kids are grown up or at an age they can look after themselves at times and wants to get out of the house/make some extra cash/maybe the hubby is away working and has a hard time finding a job that fits her schedule. Someone who has a job that wants to feel appreciated and respected, they like to work on their own/they can execute a plan and can also create their own plan for the day without being told.
