Production Line Worker

Salary: $15.50 / hour, Overtime $22.95 / hour after 44 hours

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: not required but preferred
Security & Safety: Bondable
Work Site Environment: wet / damp, noisy, odours, hot, cold/refrigerated
Work Conditions & physical capabilities: manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, standing for extended periods of time, overtime required, early mornings, day, evenings & weekends.

General Production Tasks as follows but not limited to
• Preparation of ingredients for use for production;
• Assembling finished products on conveyor lines;
• Observing the flow and manipulating the flow of finished product through equipment;
• Perform line checks of finished product at various stages of manufacturing;
• Pack finished product onto trays or other means of conveyances;
• Feed or collect finished product flowing through sealing equipment;
• Package finished product into retail or institutional packaging;
• Rack or prepare ingredients for following days production;
• Perform other tasks as assigned;
• Sanitation during and post production.

Personal suitability: effective interpersonal skills, flexibility, team player, reliability, able to work with lobster, crab, shrimp and fish

Equipment & machinery Experience: Fish products machines
