Production Lead Hand

Our client, a leading manufacturer/distributor of tubular steel products and wire components, is seeking an experienced Production Lead Hand. This role ensures efficient operations and high standards of quality and safety.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Production Lead Hand will manage daily production, supervise staff, and meet production goals. This role demands strong leadership, hands-on machinery experience, and physical stamina.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Supervise and manage production staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust workflows to meet targets.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
• Operate and maintain production equipment and machinery.
• Manage physical tasks including lifting items up to 50 lbs.
• Use strong computer skills to handle production records and reports.
• Provide training and support to team members.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing plant environment.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in relevant software.
• Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
• Significant forklift experience with a valid license.
• Supervisory or Lead Hand experience is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
