Skilled Construction Labourers

Prestige Homes, a division of The Shaw Group Limited (one of Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies) has exciting opportunities for Skilled Labourers to join our talented, driven, and fast-growing team. For over 50 years, Prestige Homes has been designing and building mini, modular, and multi-family homes to the highest quality and customer standards.

• Work in a factory setting using an assembly-line approach to residential building construction.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join common building materials.
• Keep work area clean to minimize hazards and disruptions.
• Participate in safety tool-box meetings.

Qualifications

• Previous carpentry or labourer experience is considered an asset.
• Commitment to safety in the workplace, including knowledge and practice of workplace safety procedures.
• Proficient in the use and maintenance of related tools and equipment.
• Strong communication skills
• Good organizational and planning skills; ability to prioritize workflow.
• Ability to work with others or independently as required.
