Hiring Pharmacist

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Ensure accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions dispensed using pharmacy software system
• Pharmacy Assistant support is provided during store operating hours
• Maintain all records and documentations required in accordance to provincial legislation, standards of practice and policies governed by the Ontario College of Pharmacists
• Provide timely professional services: Vaccinations, Medscheck, Minor Ailments Prescribing, Pharmaceutical Opinions
• Provide quality patient counselling on prescription and over-the-counter products
• Practice with client-oriented and professional manners. Provide timely and positive resolutions to client needs and requests from other health care providers

Qualifications and Requirements:
• Licensed Part A Pharmacist with Ontario College of Pharmacists in good standing
• Newly graduated Pharmacists waiting on OCP licensure will be considered. Start date is negotiable
• Canadian working experience as a pharmacist in a community pharmacy setting
• Injection and Minor Ailments Trained
• Knowledge of Pharmacy Software System
• Strong communications and interpersonal skills
