Chrome Plater/Polisher

Hydraulics Plus is a well-established company providing hard chrome plating, machine shop and hydraulic cylinder services. We have an immediate full time opening for a Hard Chrome Plater/Polisher to join our team.
This job involves welding, prepping, chroming and polishing of materials and maintenance of chrome tanks and solutions.
We are looking for someone who is mechanically inclined and can work with little supervision in a shop environment. Specs needed are familiarity with tools, handling of weight up to 50 lbs and own vehicle, as we are not on a public transportation route. Mechanical, welding, machining and hydraulics training, metric conversion, use of precision measuring instruments and/or experience considered a valuable asset. Applicant must be able to operate metal cleaning equipment and/or grind and chip to remove excess welds, rust, scale and other materials from surfaces of metals products. There is a possibility of loading and unloading vehicles when needed.
We are a small employee shop and all duties would be interchangeable. Successful applicant will be responsible for cleanliness and keeping an organized work area including equipment and shared responsibility of cleaning shop areas and safe work practice.
