Are you passionate about Japanese cuisine and committed to delivering exceptional dining experiences? Our authentic Japanese sushi restaurant in the heart of downtown Toronto is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic server to join our team.
Responsibilities
– Greet customers warmly and take their food and drink orders
– Provide menu recommendations and upsell additional products when appropriate
– Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
– Check on customers throughout their meals to ensure satisfaction
– Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately
– Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are accurate and delivered promptly
– Maintain cleanliness and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment
Requirements
– Prior experience in a restaurant or customer service role is preferred
– Proficiency in basic math for handling payments
– Strong customer service skills with a helpful attitude
– Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
– Knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus
– Willingness to learn and adapt to restaurant procedures and standards
– Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
