CNC Beam Line & Metal Saw Operators – Steel Fabrication Shop

Hiring CNC Beam line & Metal Saw Operators in a Steel Fabrication Shop;

CNC Beam line /or Plasma Table operator
– Using cranes and forklifts to move steel beams
– Read drawings and understand materials organization
– Possess basic computer skills
– Have strong communication and time management
– Able to read a tape measurer with ease, accuracy and tolerance
– Thrive in a fast paced work environment

Metal Saw Operator
– Able to read a tape measurer with ease, accuracy and tolerance
– Operate HYD-MEC band saw, set to cut metal as per drawing
– Measure parts to ensure conformance to specifications
– Reading blue prints
– Remove and install new blades
– Use overhead crane & fork lift to load machine and move material
– Use hand held grinder to remove sharp edges
– Maintain bandsaw equipment in good working condition
– Perform regular inspection and maintenance
– Rack new materials and off-cuts in an organized manner
– Excellent organization skills, Hand -eye co-ordination
– Working in a standing position

Both positions are full time with benefits
Wage from $21.00 to $27.00 pending on experience
