We at Value Health and Wellness are looking for an outgoing, caring, organized, and passionate individual to join our growing team in the Scarborough Community of Toronto.

Responsibilities:

Welcoming and Greeting Patients: Greet patients and visitors with a warm and friendly attitude as they arrive at the clinic. Create a positive and welcoming atmosphere, making them feel comfortable during their visit.

Scheduling Appointments: Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and manage appointment scheduling software. Coordinate and confirm patient appointments, ensuring the chiropractors’ schedules are optimized.

Patient Registration: Collect and update patient information, including personal details, medical history, and insurance information. Ensure all necessary forms are completed accurately and efficiently.

Handling Inquiries: Address patient inquiries, either in person or over the phone, regarding services offered, appointment availability, and general clinic information. Provide excellent customer service, ensuring patients’ needs are met promptly and professionally.

Managing Patient Records: Maintain organized and secure patient files, both in physical and digital formats. Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with relevant privacy laws.

Billing and Payments: Process patient payments, handle insurance-related matters, and provide necessary documentation for reimbursement. Work closely with the billing department to resolve any billing or insurance issues.

Office Support: Assist with various administrative tasks, such as managing the waiting area, maintaining office supplies, and handling incoming and outgoing mail.

Appointment Reminders: Follow up with patients to remind them of upcoming appointments, helping to minimize no-shows and last-minute cancellations.

Collaboration with Clinic Staff: Work closely with chiropractors and other clinic staff to coordinate patient care and support daily clinic operations.

Troubleshooting: Address minor technical issues with office equipment, such as computers, printers, and phones, and promptly report any significant problems to the appropriate personnel.
