Humber Ford has an immediate opening for a Service Dispatcher!

As a Service Dispatch with Humber Ford, you’ll be coordinating repair orders originating from Service Advisors at the shop. You’ll be tasked with ensuring workflows through the shop in an orderly and productive manner and verifying that all work has been completed as per the promised times.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Prioritize work according to service required, Technician and/or parts availability
  • Flag selected Repair Orders for the Service Manager to inspect for quality workmanship and tracking comebacks
  • Returns Repair Order and Keys to Service Advisor for the closing of Repair Order
  • Coordinating special order parts requirements with Parts Department
  • Participate in Service Training Courses as required
  • Answering and forwarding telephone calls
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments
  • Other duties as assigned by the Service Manager

Requirements:

  • Ability to wear many different hats and a strong aptitude for working with people across multiple departments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: a good listener who can cultivate relationships
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team-driven environment
  • Good organization and learning skills
