Set-Up Technician

ob Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Set-Up Technician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, configuring, and maintaining equipment used in manufacturing and production. This role involves troubleshooting, quality checks, and ensuring all systems are operational before use.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and calibrate machinery, tools, or equipment as per company standards and project requirements.
Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on all equipment.
Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and operators to ensure proper machine functionality.
Troubleshoot issues, identify defects, and replace malfunctioning components.
Ensure workstations are properly equipped and adhere to safety guidelines.
Maintain logs of all setup processes, repairs, and adjustments.
Provide technical support during the operation phase, addressing any mechanical or technical issues.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
Proven experience in equipment setup, technical support, or a related role.
Strong mechanical and technical skills.
Ability to read and understand technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
Experience using tools and equipment for diagnostic and repair purposes.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or evenings.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift heavy equipment up to 50 lbs.
Standing, bending, and repetitive movements for extended periods.
