General labourer position available- Full time or Part time

Job Description: Part-time and Full time General Labourers positions available

Ironex Aluminum Fencing and Railing Ltd invites applications from interested, qualified individuals for the position of a full time/part-time General Labourers. This position reports directly to the Production Lead/ General Manager.

As a General Labourer, you’ll support various residential construction projects through a range of duties, including:

– Performing physical tasks on construction sites
– Load, unload and transport construction materials for delivery to job site
– Operating and maintaining hand and power tools, punch press, and industrial machinery
– Cleaning and preparing construction sites
– Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines
– Manufacturing and custom fabrication of aluminum components for production of fences, railings, and gate products
-Keep manufacturing areas free of debris and dirt
-Mix, pour, drill, dig, and spread materials such as concrete for installation of fencing, railing and gates
-Follow instructions to operate machines, hold or supply materials and tools and load and unload items from machines
-The ability to work occasional overtime and weekend hours as required.
-Able to operate all necessary tools and equipment to perform various installation projects.

Experience Required:

– 2 years of experience in residential/commercial construction or a related field
-Knowledge of building codes and experience with both interior renovations and exterior renovations
– Reliable personal transportation (other forms of transportation, such as cabs or buses, are not accepted)
– Must have proper attire for working in ALL outdoor conditions
– Must have full G Class licence
-The successful incumbent must be able to meet the minimum requirements for our background check criteria.
-Demonstrated commitment to the delivery of customer-focused service.
-Must be able to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and production diagrams.

Job Types: Part-time -Full-time -Entry level position

Rate of Pay: $16.55 per hour

Expected hours: 30-40 per week

Schedule:
– Monday to Saturday
– Overtime

Education:
– Secondary School (preferred)
