About the Opportunity
Airbus Helicopters Canada is an industry-leading manufacturer, and we are looking to hire an experienced Controller to join our team in Fort Erie, O.N., on a full-time basis.

In this role, you will report to the CFO and play a critical role in directing, overseeing, and managing all financial aspects of the business. This position is responsible for preparing operating plans, financial forecasts, and cash flow planning, while providing detailed analysis and guidance to operational managers and senior management to drive financial performance.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Conducting inventory valuation, hourly rates, and cost distribution analysis
  • Performing detailed financial analysis, including profitability and cash flow analysis
  • Leading workload, capacity, and cost center analysis for operational departments
  • Collaborating with operational managers to communicate and drive business line performance
  • Proposing corrective actions with a cost-effective approach
  • Preparing monthly financial reports and assisting in board and internal management reporting
  • Leading the preparation of the annual budget, forecasts, and cash flow planning
  • Supporting working capital management and inventory optimization
  • Assisting with enterprise risk management processes and tax schedule preparation
  • Supporting the CFO in communication with Airbus Helicopters in France
  • Participating in the decision-making process to optimize performance across business lines
  • Providing analytical support for new programs, capital investments, and margin analysis

More About You
To qualify, you will need a CPA designation and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business. A minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in a finance position, along with 3 to 4 years of leadership or supervisory experience, will also be essential.

Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:

  • Manufacturing experience
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, business control, and profitability assessment
  • Excellent financial analysis skills, including financial modeling and forecasting
  • Proficiency in cost control principles and financial reporting
  • Ability to manage working capital and optimize inventory
