Meat Packer

We are seeking a dedicated Meat Packer to join our team in the food industry for one of our clients located in Chesterville, ON

Responsibilities

• Processing and slaughtering
• Knife skills are an asset but willing to train.
• Scraping hair off the pigs on the processing line.
• Must be able to stand on their feet for long periods
• If the candidate has a hunting background probably better.
• Learning and assisting with various stages of the slaughtering process.

Experience

• Prior experience in the food industry is preferred
• Knowledge of meat-cutting techniques is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow strict guidelines
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Shift: 2 days a week.

Mondays 7 am to 1 pm

Thursdays 7 am to 3 pm

Pay: $17.20-$19.00 per hour
