Barista and Prep Cook

Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Barista and Prep Cook to join our dynamic team. In this dual role, you will be responsible for creating exceptional coffee and beverage experiences while assisting in the kitchen with food preparation. Responsibilities:
As a Barista:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to company standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area.
• Provide excellent customer service and engage with customers to enhance their experience.
• Handle cash register transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Educate customers about different coffee blends, brewing methods, and menu items.

As a Prep Cook:

• Assist in the preparation of food items according to recipes and kitchen standards.
• Ensure the kitchen and food prep areas are clean and sanitary.
• Assist with inventory management and food storage.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Basic cooking skills and knowledge of food safety practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Shift Availability:

• 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Pay Rate:

• Barista: $18 per hour
• Prep Cook: $20 per hour
