Virtual Territory Manager

Inizio Engage Canada is seeking a dynamic and results driven Virtual Territory Manager (VTM) to engage virtually or via phone with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) nationally to represent biopharmaceutical partner brands, delivery key messaging with aim of increasing the brand’s sales and market share. The jobholder can work remotely with the option of working in a hybrid manger if in the Montreal area.  The VTM may need to participate in in-person national/regional client sales meetings, locally or off-site. The VTM will be reporting to the Business Manager, Commercial Services. This bis a 4 month contract.

Key Objectives:

  • Engage with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and the clinic/pharmacy/hospital stakeholders by placing outbound phone and/or virtual calls on behalf of the client to deliver key selling messages and continuous support to increase product recommendation, sales and market share
  • Deliver key selling messages to HCPs based on client approved strategy, plan of action (POA) and training, using approved marketing tools and material
  • Plan and execute virtual lunch and learn sessions with target HCPs
  • Consistently meet and exceed program related KPIs, as communicated by direct manager
  • Manage relationships with the key influencers and HCPs in territory to ensure to meet program KPIs
  • Research territory targets, identify the key players, stakeholder map and generate interest with each interaction
  • Self-sufficient, analytical and strategic, with the ability to assess business opportunities to properly manage territory and meet call activity expectations
  • Build rapport with customers through high quality interactions and identifying the customer and patient needs
  • Respond to all customer inquiries in a timely manner
  • Capture accurate key information discussed during calls in the Client Relationship Management System (CRM)
  • Submit call activity daily in the Client Relationship Management System (CRM)
  • Manage relationships with the key influencers, client and all Inizio Engage business units through regular touch points to ensure program KPIs are delivered and to attain or exceed service goals
  • Support with maintaining existing business and promote additional services by providing insights and qualified opportunities to the direct manager, the team and at times, the client in order to provide feedback and solutions to the client’s needs
  • Maintain a professional team environment and peer to peer communication;
  • Actively participate in all team and department meetings and trainings
  • Actively and professionally participate in any client-led training sessions
  • Submit any applicable program related expenses in an accurate and timely manner, via the Concur expense management system
  • To help meet departmental fiscal year objectives
  • Demonstrate the Inizio Engage values on a daily basis

Job Holder Specification:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, (Business or science preferred)
  • Fluently Bilingual in French and English (Oral and written)
  • Experience in sales is crucial (minimum 1- 2 years);
  • Negotiation skills​
  • Experience in pharmaceuticals or healthcare industry;
  • Proven sales track record of goal achievement and ability to analyze sale trends;
  • Proven record of driving results in a high-growth company environment;
  • Established reputation as a top performer with high integrity;
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Energetic, self-motivated and strong interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external business stakeholders;
