Steele on Demand is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our growing team!

As a Customer Service Representative with Steele on Demand, you will act as a point of contact for customers seeking to rent vehicles. Your role will involve handling various administrative and service tasks, including responding to inquiries about pricing and availability, and updating vehicle tracking systems. Wage Range: $16.65-$18.80 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Provide welcoming and courteous service to all customers
  • Respond to incoming calls related to reservations, rate quotes, and general inquiries
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting customers and evaluating their rental needs both in-person and over the phone
  • Offer information and solutions to customers, liaise between other Steele on Demand locations and insurance companies
  • Process check-ins, communicate vehicle features, assess condition of vehicle prior to rental and review rental contract/agreement with customer
  • Use sales skills to offer customers optional protection packages, fuel options, or upgrades
  • Process returns, assess vehicle condition and process customer billing
  • Notify Management and Service of any known vehicle problems and any required vehicle maintenance
  • Regularly inspecting vehicles
  • Handle a range of administrative and basic accounting tasks, including updating of website
  • Transporting customers or vehicles as needed
  • May be required to assist in vehicle detailing, upon return as required
  • Perform miscellaneous and backup duties, as required

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a customer service role
  • Administrative support experience is an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Hardworking, self-motivated and have excellent time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must have a valid drivers license and provide a clean drivers abstract
