Farm Help Needed

Halderman Acres is currently seeking a motivated, trustworthy individual to join our team. We are a 4th generation, large scale, grain operation that values family and the agricultural lifestyle. We pride ourselves in innovation and attention to detail. We prioritize a healthy work/life balance but applicants must realize as with most grain farming operations, longer hours are required during the growing season. Our operation boasts newer, clean, well-maintained farm equipment.
We require an individual that is comfortable working in a farm setting running heavy equipment. We expect a successful applicant to be extremely reliable and responsible. We are willing to fully train successful applicants in all areas of the farm but expect some level of independence and exceptional reliability in reasonable time.
A mechanical background or Class 1A license would be an asset and would further dictate job description and salary.
Job description:
• Operation of equipment during the growing season. Including but not limited to: Tractors, Combines, Sprayers, Grain carts
• Maintenance of equipment, especially during winter months
• General farm duties including yard maintenance, vehicle maintenance
Skills:
• Experience with basic maintenance of farm equipment; a mechanical background would be an asset
• Valid drivers license; class 1A would be an asset
Wage: $25-35/ hour depending on experience and qualifications. Moving expenses negotiable.
