Who You Are
You are a motivated, detail-oriented contractor with a passion for maintaining outdoor spaces year-round. With hands-on experience in lawn care and snow removal, you understand the importance of precision—whether it’s achieving a perfectly trimmed lawn or ensuring a driveway is clear of snow and ice. You’re comfortable working independently, own the necessary equipment, and have a reliable vehicle for transporting it between job sites.

You thrive in all weather conditions, enjoy managing your own schedule, and are committed to safety and efficiency. As a Contractor, you’ll be guaranteed a minimum of 35 hours every two weeks, providing you flexibility while ensuring consistent work. You must also be available to take on additional hours as required, with the potential to work over 40 hours per week, especially during peak seasons.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform lawn care tasks, including mowing, trimming, fertilizing, and aeration.
• Carry out snow removal services to ensure residential properties are safe and clear of snow and ice.
• Operate and maintain equipment such as mowers, trimmers, leaf blowers, aerators, and snowblowers.
• Conduct minor maintenance on equipment as necessary to ensure proper functioning.
• Participate in seasonal clean-ups (spring and fall), as well as year-round lawn maintenance.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications:
• 1-2 years of experience in lawn care, landscaping, and snow removal services.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Ownership of essential equipment (mower, trimmer, leaf blower, shovel, ice breaker, etc.); aerators, snowblower, and edgers are a bonus.
• Ability to transport equipment using your own vehicle, along with proper vehicle insurance.
• Valid WCB coverage (or willingness to obtain); liability insurance provided if needed (fees may apply).
• Willingness to undergo a criminal background check.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Working Conditions
• Outdoor work year-round in varying weather conditions (-30°C to 30°C).
• Must use personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and steel-toed boots as required.
• Primarily servicing the Greater Toronto Area.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Capable of standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
• Physical endurance to operate heavy lawn care and snow removal equipment for long shifts.

What We Offer
• $20 to $25 per hour, plus mileage reimbursement at CRA rate ($0.70/km).
• Guaranteed minimum of 35 hours every two weeks.
