Counterbalance Forklift Operator (Temp) Start ASAP

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our client’s team in Woodbridge. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a vital role in our warehouse operations, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of flooring materials and products. Your primary responsibility will be to operate a forklift to load, unload, and transport flooring materials within the warehouse.

Responsibilities:
– Operate a forklift to load, unload, and move flooring materials and products in a safe and efficient manner.
– Inspect and maintain the forklift to ensure it is in proper working condition.
– Safely secure materials on the forklift and properly stack them in designated storage areas.
– Assist with inventory management by conducting accurate counts and reporting discrepancies.
– Collaborate with warehouse team members to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
– Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
– Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the forklift and surrounding storage areas.

Requirements:
– Valid counterbalance forklift operator certification.
– Proven experience operating a forklift, preferably in a warehouse or distribution environment.
– Proficient in forklift operation techniques, including loading, unloading, and manoeuvring in tight spaces.
– Ability to lift heavy materials and operate in a physically demanding environment.
