NW Calgary Daycare Aide P/T mornings

Family seeking a ECE or aide to support 6 year old with ASD in daycare setting. Ideal candidate is experienced in a daycare setting and will provide dedicated support to a child with ASD. Child struggles with impulse control, and will engage in negative behaviours (hair pulling) when seeking attention. 1:1 supervision is required to engage child and deter negative behaviour. Any experience with ASD and/or emotional regulation in young children is an asset.
Starting wage of $17 / hour, however flexible based on experience.

Hours are 8 am – noon Mon – Fri (child attends afternoon kindergarten and will be bussed out) with some flexibility; opportunity for additional hours on non-instructional days and public school breaks.

Nov 1 start date.
