Level 2 Dental Assistant

Kanata South Dental is looking for Level-II certified dental assistant to join our team of caring professionals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Clinical chairside assisting duties for a variety of dental procedures such as, but not limited to: general dentistry, endodontics, implant surgery
Radiographs (as prescribed by the Dentist)
Lab duties, as required (impressions, fabrication of mouthguards, etc.)
Sterilization and disinfection with required reporting
Ensure that the dentist you are assisting has the necessary dental supplies on hand to perform dental procedures
Prepare treatment rooms in accordance with best practices of infection control
Experience in infection control and sterilization of surgical instruments and knowledgeable on all sterilization technique
Chairside assisting experience in a dental practice
Intraoral scanner experience in a dental practice
Strong organizational and communication skills (English speaking is a requirement. Knowledge of additional languages is an asset)
